Service Description

IPL - Intense Pulse Light rejuvenates your skin with minimal downtime. It addresses a multitude of complexion problems including broken capillaries and blood vessels on your face, pigmentation, age spots, sun damage, freckles, rosacea and redness within the skin. This treatment is safe for most skin types who wish to improve their complexion. IPL penetrates down to the dermis with a spectrum of light and heat, triggering natural collagen production. Your skin quality improves from the inside out for a smoother, finer texture, firmness and a glow generated from within. IPL can take years off of your face, neck, decollete and hands! You should have no suntan or self tanner when having this treatment done. We will use our Skin Tel for safety reasons to test the Melanin levels in your skin before proceeding. This treatment will take approximately 30 minutes and feels like a rubber band snapping on the skin. Most clients express a 3/10 level of discomfort. Once your treatment is completed, your skin will be red for several hours and brown pigment will start to rise to the surface. This is called sloughing or peppering, and can last 1-2 weeks. Proper skincare and sunscreen are mandatory after this treatment. Treatment areas include the face, neck, decollete, and hands. This treatment is best done in a series of 3 sessions spaced one month apart letting your skin heal in between and then then once a year to maintain your results.
